KATIE BIBISH MOLINE RECEIVES “20 UNDER 40” LEADERSHIP RECOGNITION AWARD

           Katherine Moline, Senior Audit Accountant at Weber Clark, received a 2019 20 Under 40 Leadership Recognition Award on Tuesday, October 29 at the 24th annual 20 Under 40 ceremony.  She was among the 200 nominated candidates. 

            Ms. Moline was a Congressional Aide to U.S. Congresswoman Marcy Kaptur for five years before reinventing herself and becoming a CPA. She became certified by passing all four segments in one attempt each in less than nine months. At Weber Clark she manages audit client engagements and leads the wellness committee and serves on the marketing committee. She created a women’s health initiative that included wellness coaching and a breastfeeding room.

            She has participated in the 2019 Class of Leadership Advance of the Ohio Society of CPAs, has been a Woman in Leadership mentor at BGSU and is a member of the Northwest Ohio Screening committee for Ohio Society of CPAs. She served as Finance Director for Joe McNamara’s successful campaign for Judge of Lucas County Court of Common Pleas, and chaired the leadership Gifts Capital Campaign at Most blessed Sacrament Parish that raised over $1.5 million.

Ms. Moline serves on the Toledo Regional Chamber of Commerce Board, is chair of EPIC Toledo Advisory Leadership. She is a member of United Way Emerging Leaders and Women’s Initiative, and Females in Action and is an assistant Girl Scout leader.  She is a former Board member and Treasurer of Family House and was appointed by the Mayor of Toledo to serve on the City of Toledo’s Charter Revision and Review Committee in 2014.

            Ms. Moline is a graduate of Miami University and earned a Masters in Russian Studies from European University at St. Petersburg Russia. She and her husband reside in West Toledo.

            The 20 Under 40 program focuses on individuals in northwest Ohio and southeast Michigan under the age of 40 who have distinguished themselves in their career and/or in the community. An independent panel of judges selects the 20 candidates for recognition.  It is intended that the program will further motivate young leaders in our area. Since 1996, 480 young, community leaders have been recognized through the 20 Under 40 program.

The Creative Block and Ulrich Pinciotti are creative partners.  Community support is provided by EPIC Toledo, Imagination Station, The Toledo Repertoire Theatre, Toledo Alliance for the Performing Arts, Toledo Lucas County Public Library, Toledo Museum of Art, Toledo Opera, Toledo Zoo, and the Valentine Theatre.
